EDIYA Coffee, one of South Korea’s leading coffee brands, is making its official debut in the Canadian market. The company announced that it will open its first Canadian location on Saturday, April 18, at the Galleria K Town branch in Toronto.
This launch marks an important milestone in EDIYA Coffee’s expansion into North America and introduces the Korean coffee culture's appeal to a broader audience. The new location is expected to serve as a gateway for local customers to experience the unique flavours and atmosphere that have made the brand a favourite in Korea.
At the Galleria K Town store, customers will be able to enjoy EDIYA Coffee’s signature beverages alongside a selection of smoothies and desserts that have been consistently popular in Korea. This offering allows customers to experience the same taste and quality that the brand is known for, now available in Canada.
The store will also feature exclusive menu items developed specifically for the Canadian market. These include the Maple Nut Bread, which highlights the rich flavour of maple, the Maple Waffle inspired by classic Canadian sweetness, and the Maple Nut Cream Latte that blends smooth cream with a hint of maple. These items are designed to reflect local tastes while delivering a distinctive and memorable experience.
To celebrate the grand opening, EDIYA Coffee will offer a range of special promotions. On opening day, Saturday, April 18, customers can purchase a large Americano, hot or iced, for one dollar. On Sunday, April 19, customers will receive complimentary gifts based on their purchase amount. A blue mug will be offered with purchases over ten dollars before tax, an EDIYA eco bag with purchases over fifteen dollars before tax, and an extra cold tumbler with purchases over twenty dollars before tax.
In addition, tasting events will be held throughout the opening weekend. Beverage samples will include Dalgona Latte, Bokbunja Vin Chaud, Strawberry Latte, and Americano. Bakery samples will feature Croffle, Bulgogi Cheese Sandwich, and Buldak Burrito, allowing customers to explore a wide range of menu offerings.
An EDIYA Coffee representative stated that entering the Canadian market represents a significant step toward becoming a global brand. The company aims to share Korean coffee culture with local customers while delivering both quality and value that define the EDIYA experience.
