Galleria Supermarket, Toronto's largest Korean grocery store (CEO: Moonjae Kim), successfully concluded its "Pork Carving Performance" event held at the York Mills branch on February 22, 2025, at 2 PM.
The event offered a unique opportunity for visitors to experience a live whole pig butchering show and purchase premium meats directly on-site, which received great feedback from attendees. Galleria Supermarket’s top butcher demonstrated the thrilling process of transforming a whole pig into premium cuts. Customers were able to purchase fresh, hormone-free Ontario pork, including specialty cuts such as skirt, pork jowl, rib tip, and popular cuts like pork belly, pork neck, and pork loin at unbeatable prices.
Customers enjoyed watching the pig butchering process live. They were also able to verify the high quality of Galleria Supermarket’s meat firsthand. Moreover, with the pork being raised without hormones, there was a positive response from customers regarding the health benefits and freshness of the meat.
Galleria Supermarket stated, "We are pleased to have had the opportunity to connect with our customers through this event. We plan to prepare various upcoming events that will offer our customers new and exciting shopping experiences."
