ree

Galleria Supermarket, the largest Korean grocery chain in Toronto, has announced that it will host the second edition of its “Pork Carving Performance” on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at its York Mills location.

This unique event is designed to educate customers on the value of high-quality, fresh meat while deepening their understanding of the butchery process. A professional butcher will perform a live pork carving demonstration, explaining the characteristics and culinary uses of each cut, as well as how to identify fresh pork.

Customers will have the opportunity to witness the entire carving process up close and purchase hormone-free, Ontario-raised premium pork at a special promotional price of $4.99 per pound (available in limited quantities).

Building on the success of the first event, Galleria Supermarket is preparing more than 2.5 times the amount of pork to meet growing demand. The supermarket aims to further enhance customer trust by offering a distinctive in-store experience combined with expert knowledge.

“We are grateful for the overwhelming support we received during the first event,” said a Galleria spokesperson. “This second event promises an even more special opportunity for customers to experience premium pork firsthand through an engaging live carving performance. We invite everyone to come and take part in this unique celebration.”
