Galleria Supermarket, the largest Korean grocery chain in Toronto, has announced plans to open its highly anticipated cultural complex, K-Town, by the end of November 2025. According to CEO Moonjae Kim, the project is set to become a proud landmark for the Korean-Canadian community.
Located at 300 Steeles Ave W, in Thornhill, K-Town is designed to be more than just a shopping destination—it will be a vibrant space where visitors can experience the essence of Korean food, culture, and lifestyle, all in one place. The venue will feature a wide range of culinary options, including a food court and street-style food units. The popular Korean bakery brand Paris Baguette is also scheduled to open on-site, offering customers an authentic taste of Korea in Toronto.
The complex will also host cooking classes open to all age groups, and provide a one-stop environment where customers can conveniently shop for groceries, daily necessities, and dine out—all under one roof.
A Galleria Supermarket representative stated, “K-Town is not just a new store opening. It’s envisioned as a symbolic space—a slice of Korea within Toronto,” adding, “We aim to make K-Town a cultural hub that will be cherished by both Korean-Canadians and multicultural communities alike.”
Galleria Supermarket remains committed to mutual growth with its long-standing partners and plans to continue promoting Korean culture and engaging with local communities through a variety of meaningful initiatives and outreach programs.
