If you love Korean bulgogi and Italian pasta, this dish brings the best of both worlds together. Tender slices of marinated beef, sweet and savoury sauce, and perfectly chewy noodles —this Bulgogi Pasta is comforting, flavourful, and easy enough for a weeknight dinner. Let’s make this cozy East-meets-West fusion meal at home!
🧂 Ingredients
200g beef (for bulgogi)
180g spaghetti noodles
½ onion, thinly sliced
A bit of carrot, julienned (optional)
Bell pepper or mushrooms (optional)
1 tbsp cooking oil
A pinch of salt
🥢 Bulgogi Marinade
2½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp sesame oil
A pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp pear or apple juice
1 tbsp onion juice (for extra flavour)
🍝 For the Sauce
½ cup pasta water
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tbsp butter (optional)
Grated Parmesan cheese, to finish
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Marinate the beef
Combine the beef with all the marinade ingredients and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
2. Cook the pasta
Boil spaghetti in salted water for 1 minute less than the package instructions.
Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the noodles.
3. Cook the bulgogi
Heat cooking oil in a pan.
Add the onion and carrot, and sauté until slightly softened.
Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until cooked through
4. Combine with pasta
Add the cooked pasta to the pan along with the reserved pasta water and olive oil.
Toss everything together until the noodles absorb the flavourful sauce.
5. Finish & serve
Turn off the heat and mix in butter and a drizzle of sesame oil for a rich, nutty aroma.
Plate the pasta, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese generously on top, and enjoy!
Garnish with sesame seeds or parsley if you like.

✨ Tips
For a creamier version, add 3 tablespoons of heavy cream at the end.
For a spicy twist, drizzle a bit of chili oil or add sliced chili peppers.
