Rejuvenating Braised Abalone Is Soy Sauce.

The abalone should have small cuts and cooked slowly over low heat to fully develop the rich flavours.
Although the recipe may seem simple, it requires careful attention to detail and is worthy of being served as a royal dish. For dinner tonight, why not try making braised abalone with Abalone from Wando, Korea, which you can find at Galleria Supermarket?
It’s sure to make for a lovely evening.
Ingredients
3 abalones
1 king oyster mushroom
10 ginkgo nuts
Marinate Ingredients
½ cup abalone poaching water
2T soy sauce
2T cooking wine
1T oligosaccharide
1T grain syrup
¼ green onion 2 cloves garlic
1 piece ginger
1t sesame oil
How to make it
Make small horizontal and vertical incisions at 0.5cm intervals on one side of the steamed abalone.
Add the stew ingredients to a pot and bring the stew to a boil.
When the stew reaches a boil, add the thinly sliced king oyster mushroom and abalone then reduce the heat to simmer.
When the stew is reduced by half and the king oyster mushroom is marinaded, take them out the first, the add ginkgo nuts to finish simmering.
Turn the heat off and drizzle with sesame oil to finish.
