🄣 Ingredients (2 servings)


  • 300g pork belly, sliced

  • 2 bowls of cooked rice

  • 2 eggs

  • Green onions, chopped

  • Sesame seeds

  • Cooking oil


🧨Sauce


  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey

  • 1 tbsp mirin or water

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Ā Black pepper

1ļøāƒ£ Heat a pan over medium heat with a little oil.

Cook the pork belly until golden and crispy on both sides.

Transfer to paper towels to remove excess fat.


2ļøāƒ£ In the same pan, remove excess oil.

Add soy sauce, sugar (or honey), mirin, garlic, and pepper.

Simmer on low heat until slightly thickened.


3ļøāƒ£ Add the pork belly back into the pan and coat evenly with the sauce.


4ļøāƒ£ Fry the eggs sunny-side up or over-easy.


5ļøāƒ£ Assemble the bowl with rice, pork belly, and a fried egg.
